About RISE

RISE Dance Company is a pre-professional, non-profit dance company, which is based out of The Dance Spot and is under the direction of Quinton Weathers.

Dancers will have the chance to perform around the Austin area, work with award-winning choreographers from across the country and attend conventions and competitions around Texas. Company members will be put into groups according to their age and ability and must enroll in mandatory classes for their appropriate level.

Each year, Rise Dance Company will participate in designated conventions and competitions.

The RISE Hip Hop Cru is a group of dedicated dancers ages 7-12 who are passionate about hip hop, and have a great desire to perform.

This group of dancers trains specifically for public performances and competitions. The RISE Hip Hop Cru provides young dancers the opportunity to learn important skills and to develop the poise necessary to become outstanding performers. Cru members learn discipline, technique, and teamwork, and give back to the community by providing high energy family appropriate entertainment.

Dancers must be registered for a hip hop class at The Dance Spot and be available for rehearsals on Fridays.
